Group departure: Gay culinary Experience

After breakfast, we will explore the Lujan de Cuyo district, the birthplace of wine in Argentina, known for its iconic Malbec. The tour begins at Catena Zapata Winery, which offers magnificent views of the Andes and surrounding vineyards, along with a pyramid-inspired architectural design. Next, we'll visit Finca Decero Winery, which provides stunning views of the Andes Mountain Range. The unique characteristics of the land and climate in the area allow the cultivation of red grape varieties. After the visit and wine tasting, we'll enjoy a gourmet lunch at the exclusive Ruca Malen Winery, where we'll savor their delicious cuisine and sample various wines. Ruca Malén aims to produce wines with style, elegance, and distinction. Our tour ends with a visit to Tapiz Winery, formerly owned by Jess Jackson and the Kendall Jackson group. Our charming Anglo-Argentine guide, Carolina Fuller, will show and explain the vineyard's cultivation, pruning, and harvesting techniques, guiding us through all stages of the winemaking process. Tapiz often includes a horseback ride through the vineyards. We'll have dinner at Club Tapiz, located on a 1890 estate surrounded by vineyards, considered one of the best restaurants in Mendoza.

After breakfast, we'll visit the exclusive high-altitude wines in the Uco Valley area (1.30 hours by car from Mendoza city). The Uco Valley presents the highest altitude at which wines are produced in the province of Mendoza, up to 1400 meters above sea level. The best wines are produced from grape varieties with short maturation cycles, especially Chardonnay, Semillon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Our first visit will be to Salentein Winery, a modern winery located at the foothills of Mount Tupungato, renowned for its production of one of the best Pinot Noir Reserves. We will also visit "Killka" Convention Center, its cinema, and Art Gallery. Next, we'll enjoy a gourmet lunch at a beautiful rural house Altus, offering a unique concept of wines in the area. Our last stop is Andeluna Cellars, a winery located in one of the most impressive landscapes in the world. We'll tour the winery, taste wines, and have time to relax facing the vineyards and mountains while enjoying the beautiful old-style house. We'll return to Mendoza around 6.30 pm. In the evening, we'll celebrate dinner at Bistro M, a famous restaurant at Park Hyatt Hotel, serving traditional Mendocinean dishes prepared in a French style.
